A Foundation is a legal entity. It is the legal form which is mostly used in Liechtenstein for asset protection and estate planning.

The Trust is not a corporate entity but a legal form which is an adaptation of the anglo-saxon trust. It is mostly used for the same objects as the Foundation, the only difference between them being the legal organization.
